Silcawool Textile

The base material of SILCAWOOL Textile Products consists of a new calcium/silicate Special HT Glass Fiber (SILCAWOOL), with a small quantiy of organic fibers that decomposes from about 200 °C.
 

In order to ensure that the strenght is manteined at high temperature, the SILCAWOOL yarns are reinforced eithr with Steel wires ( for 1050 °C ) or glass filaments ( for 650 °C )..
